DreamSpring Announces Another Industry First With DreamConnect 2

Gold Coast, Australia, 9 May 2006 — DreamSpring, a Symbian smartphone specialist, announced at CeBIT Australia 2006 the Beta of the latest version of DreamConnect 2, its powerful contact management application for Sony Ericsson smartphone users, featuring industry first multiple send-to and sophisticated smart find functions.

DreamSpring released the beta for the upgrade version of DreamConnect 2, adding another industry first feature to the application's impressive feature list. Send-to allows smartphone users to select multiple contacts using DreamConnect's powerful navigation features like fast filter, smart find, and hierarchical folders, and then with one tap send any type of message to all of those contacts.

Users desiring to send a single message to multiple contacts no longer need to use the clumsy contact selection dialog, laboriously selecting contacts one by one. Combining multiple send with smart find, users can easily conduct an SMS or email campaign right from their smartphone.

Smart find is an advanced and sophisticated search tool that allows users to define a series of search rules, combined with boolean logic, to locate information in any field of any contact in their smartphone's contacts database. Users can perform specific searches on all text and numbers by using an unlimited number of search rules. This complements the existing fast find function.

This beta upgrade gives a whole new look to DreamConnect 2 and greatly improved hierarchical sub-folders and undo/redo functions. It also includes software sharing capability and many enhancements to the application.
