DreamSpring Announces New Contact Manager For Smartphone Users

Gold Coast, Australia, 28 September 2005 — DreamSpring, a Symbian smartphone specialist, announced today the smartphone version of its powerful contact management application for Sony Ericsson smartphone users.

DreamSpring has officially announced DreamConnect 2, the first contact manager on the platform to offer users the ability to undo and redo changes made to contact details. It runs on Symbian UIQ smartphones including Sony Ericsson's P-series smartphones and Motorola A1000.

DreamConnect 2 is ideal for those who have a large number of contacts and need to access contact details frequently. It inherits many unique features from the previous version for Psion's handhelds. Clear display of information in a business card format and multiple categories per contact are some of them.

DreamConnect 2's many benefits include reversible contact editing to avoid data loss by mistake, accurate and automatic merge of duplicate contacts, fast and easy management of contacts in the contact list through multi-contact selection and fast recognition of contact details thanks to layouts that change based on the category.

On the announcement of DreamConnect 2, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow comments: "DreamConnect 2 is not yet another contact manager. It is unique and powerful because it was designed from scratch with users in mind. It provides key functions such as undo/redo that are sorely lacking in the standard applications and is a statement of DreamSpring's capability. This is a wonderful new foundation for us to build on."

A trial version will soon be available on DreamSpring's website at www.dreamspring.com. Users can sign up to be informed of DreamConnect 2's development at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamconnect-2-for-uiq-2/dreamconnect-2.html.

DreamConnect 2 provides Symbian UIQ smartphone users an efficient and effortless way of managing their contacts. DreamConnect 2 is scheduled for release at the Smartphone Show in London 11-12 October 2005, coinciding with the company's first exhibition at the Show.
