Smart Find Screenshots

DreamConnect now allows you to perform powerful searches on your contacts database using the Smart Find feature.

Smart Find Dialog

This example shows a quite simple set of rules which will find all contacts with a company but without any work email addresses. Note that the Smart Find dialog adapts to the size of the machine's screen.

The Smart Find dialog allows as many rules to be added as needed, creating a scroll bar when necessary. This allows powerful searches to be defined via a simple and expandable interface. Even revo users can take advantage of this.

Smart Find Text and Search Progress

Not only does Smart Find work from a simple, powerful dialog, but it also does searches in the background, so you can get on with viewing the results.

As you can see, DreamConnect always keeps contacts in sorted order (unlike Contacts), and also provides a status showing the search progress.

Also, note that the Smart Find dialog settings are translated into text, which is entered into the Find box (and its history), from which it can be recalled and/or edited. You can even do a Smart Find by manually creating such text in the Find box.
