Contact Merge Screenshots

DreamConnect 2 merges duplicate contacts the way you expect it to. No surprises and no more copy and paste item by item, field by field.

It intelligently detects the nature of the fields and merge details appropriately. For fields that can only have one instance (such as the name), it will overwrites any changes, and for fields that can have multiple instances it inserts any different fields. Fields with the same content are left alone.

Suppose you have two copies of your co-worker Sara Lee, the first record with her last name (Lee) only, and the other with both first (Sara) and last name (Lee). The first record has Sara's mobile number and work address, and the second has a different mobile number, home phone, and the same address.

To merge the two records, it's as easy as selecting the second one to copy and and the first record to paste to. Once paste is selected, DreamConnect 2 will go through the fields and determine how details are to be merged. In a few seconds, you will end up with a contact Sara Lee who has two mobile phones, a home phone, and an address.
