Dynamic Group Messaging
DreamConnect 3 introduces a powerful new form of Dynamic Group Messaging. The idea is simple: you should be able to choose: a) the contacts you want to send to and then let the system choose the actual addresses for you. What if you want to send to a predefined group of addresses? DreamConnect 3 supports that as well. How does it work in practice? 1. Choose the contacts you want to send to, using any of DreamConnect's powerful search and selection tools. 2. Choose the type of message you want to send to. |

3. Choose the addresses you want selected (the first address found, the first of each matching category, all of the first category, or all of the addresses found); also choose the categories you want to find, and which order to find them in (eg. Home, then Work, then Standard): |
4. Verify that all the addresses you wanted are selected, and add or remove any addresses you wanted to send to (usually you won't have to do anything at this step): |
5. You can now send the message: |

6. If you wanted to keep your collection of contacts, and the selection of addresses chosen from them, then before sending the message, you can save the group under any name: |
7. After saving the group, you can reuse it at any time without having to select the contacts beforehand. You can even merge newly selected contacts into the predefined set of contacts in the group by selecting different contacts and then sending to the named group. |
