Single Entry Point

Create entries from one location. There is no need to open multiple applications to get the information you need to create an entry. DreamScribe makes it easy by integrating other applications and making information available.

Fast Input

Speeds up the entry process using built-in lists and labels to avoid any typing of text.

Integration of Contacts Database

Shares the standard Contacts database so contact details (especially names) are immediately accessible, without having to cut-and-paste or retype them.

In addition, you can modify details in a contact at the same time as adding them to an activity.

You can also create new contacts from within DreamScribe.

Automatic Data Transfer

Automatically save information that you created and edited using DreamScribe to the appropriate applications such as Calendar, To-do and Contacts.

Supports all Activity Types

Supports all types of activities in both the Calendar and To-do applications. That means: meetings, memos (day entries), anniversaries, and to-dos.

Multiple Contacts per Record

Schedule activities with one or more contacts without the need to launch or open the Contacts database.

Multiple Activities per Record

Schedule multiple activities with the same set of contacts, reducing the time spent looking up contacts.

Dynamic Joystick Menu

The menu is designed and positioned to take full advantage of the joystick. It provides feedback with fast navigation. It offers always-visible choices arranged in a "tree" structure and no confusion.

Editable Type Lists

Each activity has its own unique list of the most common types of activity. Instead of entering the subject of an activity manually, you can choose one of the types from the built-in lists. But even if you don't use any of the built-in types, you can easily add your own.

Prioritised Type Lists

Each type list consists of the most common types of activities unique to that category of activity. Since the type lists are sorted by popularity, the most-used types will always be at the top, for quick selection. As you add extra types, the least popular types will be discarded from the list, keeping it manageable.

Configurable Menu Key Quick Access

DreamScribe captures the Menu key to allow fast switching to a new record. It adds itself into the cycle of Menu and Telephone applications, so that it becomes Menu, Telephone, DreamScribe and back to Menu.

The Menu capture behavior can be switched off for those who wish to use "Today View" applications or similar applications that also capture the Menu key.

Configurable Defaults for Activities

You can configure the standard meeting duration, alarm hours before, days before, and time. These standard values are entered into a new activity, saving you the need to constantly change them.
