DreamSend Defect 002 |
|
Contact field selection problems |
| Number | 002 |
| Title | Contact field selection problems |
| Synopsis | Some contacts are selectable when they have spaces in matching fields, and some contact fields get selected incorrectly. The problem is due to the collision of two "features" in Nokia's implementation of the Contacts Server.
When contacts have been exported from one Series 60 phone and imported into another, they will now have numerous fields containing spaces, marked as meaningful data. DreamSend is unaware of this, and presents these fields as valid recipient addresses/phone numbers to the user. DreamSend should filter out all such empty fields, even if the Contacts Server believes they are not empty. |
